Main Park

Mont Giroux, at the bottom of the Magog Trail.

Our main park will satisfy the most adventurous riders, from intermediate to expert. Its design was thought out to the very last detail. All the features were designed to provide fluid and energetic descents.

Intermediate to expert level.

Expert riders who know their way around prefer the line that offers a more challenging level, while less experienced riders can choose to go down the less challenging features found running parallel to the expert line. The park has a series of three jumps of 20, 25 and 30 feet, with a stop line to allow riders to prepare for the upcoming challenge.

Family Park, this is where it all starts!

Mont Orford, at the bottom of the 4 KM trail, in the Connection.

This is where it all starts! To become a pro, ride the features and get familiar with the various jumping and sliding motions, ideal for both young and old alike, and even for a teenager who started skiing or snowboarding at a late age. And if you are accompanying someone, don’t just sit back and watch – try the smaller features, and the whole family can do the run side by side!

The Family Park offers two separate lines for two runs at different levels. The features are smaller on one side, while the parallel run offers medium-sized features. The mini-rails, boxes, half-moons and jumps are marked by an orange sign that indicates the size of each feature – pay attention to them! They are all spaced out to allow enough room on the side to safely stop and watch the skills of the other future champions.

What excites you about building snowparks?

Being true park fans ourselves, it makes sense to build parks that we will love to use later. We build them a bit for us, but always with a view to democratizing sport and allowing everyone to discover the joys of using snowparks.

What makes the Mont-Orford snowparks so unique?

First, the series of three jumps from the main park of the Magog trail is quite striking. The track with the perfect vertical drop and the space allotted to us allow the establishment of this unique series. Then our entire 4 KM park. Mont-Orford has chosen to offer one of the largest parks focused on progression and initiation in Quebec. Accessible from both summits, it is possible for new enthusiasts to find their way there from their first days on the slopes and that for us is great.

What does Mont-Orford represent for you?

The apical and rocky drop allows some "riding" that are rarely seen elsewhere in Quebec. Here we mean: quality glades, cliffs, slopes and quite unique natural terrain. It’s also the feeling of being at home, the resort team and more specifically our operator Kelly Simard without whom the parks would not be what they are.

Mont-Orford is a huge playground for us.
