For your safety

  • The hiking trails are not patrolled. This activity takes place in natural environment which, consequently, are further from emergency services. This leads to delays in incidents requiring immediate care or evacuation.
  • You must ensure that you have the skills, abilities and equipment required to practice this activity. Hikers should be aware of potential risks, which include, but are not limited to, the possibility of property damage and personal injury.
  • In an emergency, you must dial 911.
  • You are responsible for your own safety. Please note that the cellular network on the mountain may prove to be weak or even non-existent in some places.
  • At all times we ask you to stay on the designated tracks and trails and to respect the nature that is found at Mont-Orford.
